I went to an exclusive Audi and VW car show yesterday and saw something I wouldn't mind doing to the vibe. Cheap and looks awesomeWhat do you guys think? I am going to look at where I would put it.

sounds like a project, what about in the bottom grill? in your vibe? maybe photoshop it first to see what you think

That's looks cool - would be easy to retrofit to a 2009 Vibe w/the black plastic blank panels. Wonder how well they actually work though.

Sounds like a neat idea to me. I've actually been considering this on my Vibe. My thought is to simply wire the LEDs into the low beams so they will be on all the time just like the DRLs. Here's a close approximation of what I'm thinking. PlatinumVibe08

That's hilarious that in masking your plate number that you used abes head or is that maybe a protection that IL does on their plates perhaps? I'd recommend these LED strips for something like that. I've put them on the gf's car and they've held up quite nicely. Very bright and look great too. I'll try and find a pic to post.

Here's what I done to a Grand Prix. I have them wired to the parking lights. They flash on the off-beat from the regular turn too which was an unexpected, but welcomed result.

Could you post a close up pic with them off?

The first time I saw and Audi coming at me with those little LEDs on, it reminded me how many people leave their Christmas lights up all year round. Nice looking bunch of Audi and VDubs in those shots.

if the led small then layout like that won't be bright enough you have to get them closer together. In your case you might need like at least double that so 28

a long piece of black rubber will do. If only I know what the Vibe lower bumper look like then I can help out.
