Hi all,Night before last I had the opportunity to rescue a Humming Bird... !!!I happened to get caught in my screen gazebo..I was very careful when I had to grab it, it simply wanted to go UP and couldn't figure anything out past that... lol..The really neat part about this is that once I got hold of it, it calmed right down, I took it into the house to show the GF...After, I took it outside and opened my hand, and it WOULDN'T fly away... ??? (It was dark and i'm SURE it was exhausted)Well I have a potted Hibiscus plant outside and decided to place it there, as it's about 15' from my Trumpet Vine...These are the pics... it was amazing... Post rescue exhaustion.... Sleeping

Yeah guys, as you can imagine, I was in awe over it... I see them all the time, I have a Trumpet Vine that has grown up a Cedar tree in the yard, it's gotta be 30' up the tree (to within 6' of the top) So I get to see them a lot, just like everyone else said, never up close and never for long... I was very happy that I didn't hurt it, well, at least it was gone in the morning... The little thing was just so exhausted, it just gave in.. That or somehow it realized that I wasn't going to hurt it... hard to say.. lol.. It was cool... and the funny thing, the morning after I had to get a Sparrow or something, out of the gazebo too... lol... I closed it up, so it wouldn't trap anything else.. lol..
