Matrix owners is not up and working. anyone know whats goin on?

haven't been able to get on there for a day or two i think. i've noticed it's been happening a bit more often now huh?

im thinking TP was post whoring too much in the post whores section. lol.

Maybe it's Malware. My gaming site has been hit twice this year.

the hard drive is on the fritz. Till the people handling the server install a new harddrive it will go down at any time an stay down till the admin resets it.

Looks like it is back up and running...

i found it funny how he called it an attack lol he should have let people at least pull the how to's from the site before he took it down... and the timing is perfect lol one week till a MO meet.

The people who lose in the end is the community and future owners due to the vast pile of information that was lost.

Matrix/Vibe is basically the same vehicle. I do not understand what the obstacles are all about.

Things can be taken the wrong way online on a forum very easily. But at the same time in public, people tend to be more reserved and their true feelings are submerged. Well... Sad to see the site go as I did read the site and tried to keep up with certain things. Hope all the members find a new home.

I guess I'm not surprised that is is gone. Many, many members were very unhappy that it was down all the time. I just hope that Eric can get all the old info set-up on the web somewhere so it can be accessed.

Normally this is frustrating for me but Saturday night due to my drunken state I really just lost my temper. Around the same time I was banning members who frankly did not deserve to be banned we started to have serious page load issues that appeared to have the same characteristics of a syn attack. Again due to my drunken state I jumped to conclusions. I later found out that the issue was completely unrelated. I really regret my actions on Saturday night and assure you that I will not be doing that again. Regarding the second message, after some thought I really can’t blame the late night thing for my lack of enthusiasm. The only time when I personally have late or long hours is when there is an issue with the server, and unless I give up all of my online projects I will still have to deal with that. I really need to just pull myself back from dealing with the people issues involved with running this forum; it is just not fun for me anymore.I am not really sure of the future of this site and what my involvement in it will be but I assure you that I will do my best to make sure it is available to those who want to use it, seven years is just way too much to throw away. Until I can make up my mind and find a viable solution Roxtar has agreed to take over some of the administrative duties and now has admin access. I will still make sure the site is up and functioning but will try to refrain from reading or from getting involved with any of the discussions.
