oh man i remember a couple years back when there were like 2 or 3 wild fires at the same time in my area and my car was covered with ash too. it was hot and dry and couldn't open the window cuz the smoky air makes my throat sore and stuff =/ hope they get that fire under control soon or you should get a car cover on =D

All the smoke also leaves a nice black grimey film on the cars (creosote I believe). Hopefully the winds will switch around to the North and blow all the smoke elsewhere. There was a qiuck Thundershower/downpour a little while ago, black water running off the car....
