Only a dead mouse

Like many people on this site I had my a/c blower motor making noise. I was looking for a new used motor on line and wanted to make sure I was geting the right one, so I took the old one out and found a dead mouse and about 5 acorns he was storing for winter. Other than that there was no cracks or missing fins. I cleaned it out and hooked it back up and it works great. So glad I took the 20 mins to look into the problem before buying a new part.

this is going to sound odd, but, I once found a mouse in a box, it must have died over the winter and became freeze dried, because it was perfect, it had died in it's sleep, it was obvious, it was curled up... It was so serene and peaceful looking... I kept it... about a week later it got knocked off my work bench and broken up... I was upset over it for weeks.. I didn't tell anybody I was upset... lol..

I kinda got over the sight of dead mice, being that I do commercial pest control for a living...

It had an air of peacefulness, i can only imagine, comes with death.. It's funny how something so simple and taken for granted, can have such a profound effect.. the death of a mouse.. we will all achieve that peace one day...

If you happen to ever find one that died, looking like it was curled up sleeping, and in good condition, you would save it and let me know...??? The one I was talking about died in the winter, so it wasn't eaten by rot or bugs.. it just dried out.. Morbid i'm sure, is how it sounds, but you just have no idea how much something so small meant to me... lol.. It sounds strange coming out of my fingers as I type this.. lol...

I'll keep my eyes open. Sometimes when I start a new service I find old traps that had a mouse in them for ages.
