I'm tossing around ideas for some sort of graphic or decal or custom paint job to advertise my studio on the Vibe. Trying to think of different placement ideas that don't look like crud. If anyone has photos of Vibes with graphics, business logos, custom paint, wraps, etc I'd be curious to see them. Good or bad, I'd like to see what works with the aesthetic of the car and what doesn't.

Found a couple. This first one looks a little cluttered, I think. I like the color-matched wheels though.....

Whatever you do, and the two examples showing advertising have this issue, put not only your phone number but also the area code clearly on all sides of the car. In this world of multiple overlapping area codes, both wired and wireless, a phone number of 365 4088 is absolutely meaningless to the average person. Even if you live in a rural area, with the ability to take your number when you move, an area code is a must have today.I'd also add that a website, an easy to remember address if possible is just as, if not more important than a phone number. With either contact method, ANSWER THE PHONE and RESPOND TO EMAIL CONTACT or you will not thrive. When I want a service and I get an answering machine, I hang up and call the next firm that does the same work. I do NOT want to wait for a return car that may never come. If I cannot talk to a human NOW, I am not giving you any of my money.Carry a cell phone for your outfit and ANSWER it whenever it rings. Even if for a brief "may I have your number and call you right back" comment. But...... CALL BACK ASAP!!!In construction, if you answer your phone and get back with a price the odds are very high you WILL get the job.Dave

Excellent points, I didn't even notice that the first car was missing an area code. I live in a 2-state area (right on the border of WV and OH) and WV requires the area code for any number that you call. I'm just so used to it that it actually looks a little goofy to see a number that doesn't have one showing. Brings up another good point, clarity is pretty important. The graphics are cool-looking and all, but if you can't read the info in a split second, it's kind of a waste. With the first 2, there's so much going on that it's not likely a casual viewer could even discern what they're advertising, much less take down any info that you have showing. I also don't want my car looking like a Vegas billboard, so something sleek (like the 3rd option there) would be ideal.

In his defense there is a tiny decal in the rear window with the area code. He does have 2 different websites on the car?!!?Dave

I think you should do it man... Get some of your best work, have it HI-Rez scanned and pu into the wrap, or graphic.. they can do anything not with vinyl printers.. +100 on making the name and NUMBER/Email LARGE... I can't stand going down the road, and having to look at a graphic for more than a second or 2 to get the numbers... NO chrome numbers.. You can't read them at 70... lol... You are an artist, you know what looks right and what doesn't... I'd say do it..
