has anyone used the magnetic car bra posted on things like e-bay and all that? It looks like the front edge doesn't actually wrap around the front of the car, so wouldn't the bra technically not protect that front edge? (which is where i have most of my chips)anyone have any thoughts?

I put one on my car and it just protects the front part of the hood. The magnet bra's advantage is that it fits skin tight and you wont have to worry about getting sand and other debri under it that may scratch the hood.

i can't tell from the pics that i've seen, but does the bra cover the front edge of the hood? I have a ton and a half of rock chips there...and if it does, i'm just about sold on buying one....

I have a MagnetBra and I love it.There is U shaped edging that wraps around the edge of the hood to hold the bra on.It fits tight and doesn't move and looks good as well.

maybe....but not as ugly as nasty rust spots and paint chips can be....i think i'm going to go with the magnet bra, i like it because it's not a full bra and dirt won't get underneath it....i like the carbon fiber hoods, but i mean, it's just way too much money for an appearance mod...

That may be true in your oppinon (which you are totaly intitled to), but in the racing and compact import scene the CF hood is very hot.
