When I bought in Jan. color choices were black, white, silver & carbon gray. I wished there was a red one. Opted for the carbon gray as neither black or white good for a wash every 6 months guy like me and I already had a silver van.Never tempted to look beyond the 1.8L as mpg was a primary consideration. Never saw much use for the fog lights on my 2003 so that was not an issue. I like the look of aluminum wheels but not a deal breaker. IMO many if the net prices I've seen on the 2009's make it nearly a no brainer. There are a few things on my 2003 that I miss but all in all I am very happy with the 2009.

Well the other 1/2 made the decision on a Black, 2.4L, 17" Aluminum Wheels, Fog Lights...Will be adding the 2009 to the stable as BC pointed out... The topic was brought up about black showing imperfections and showing dirt, but it is a such a sharp colour... Black or Red are fine with me... NO GT or AWD as the the prices jumps even more... 0% financing is nice too...

When the wife and I were researching, we thought that the AWD price differential ($4,000) was a little high, but then we realized that the AWD also included A/C, automatic transmission (a necessity for the wife), a superior rear suspension, and roof racks. Of course, not everyone wants to pay $400 for roof racks, and the A/T is the tried-and-true 4-speed, not the sporty 5-speed with Driver Shift Control. But overall, I feel like we only paid an additional $1,000 to $1,500 for the AWD "option".In addition, we bought one of the leftover pre-price-increase models, got $600 off of *that* sticker price, and financed the whole purchase, even the taxes, tag, and title, through GMAC at 0% for five years.--Chris

Well...Took delivery of the vehicle tonight... Was taking the window sticker off and noticed some paint missing... It is on the hatch where the glass and rear spoiler (not the GT one) meet... Vehicle is going back to the dealer Thursday to be painted... A little bummed... As for the AWD, the concern for the repair of the rear differential and failure when it gets towards 100,000 miles is a concern so that is why we choose to omit the AWD from the selection... Really did not want to spend $2000 + when/if it occurred...Steelies + Snow Tires + FWD + Stability/Traction Control = Good Enough

Ours had a tiny 2mm paint nick on one door edge. Dealer promised some touch-up paint. The spot looked rusted to me and I asked them if it needed any prep before touching up and they said no, just to use a cardboard matchstick and touch it up with no prep at all. Does that seem right?

Well...The Vibe is home for now and the scratches and paint missing on the hatch have been fixed 3 times... Dealer finally contacted GM, asked them to pay for a GT Spoiler which they approved. Also, GM approved a reimbursement for the 1st car payment due to the dealer having the vehicle for almost 5 weeks...Darth Vibe will be going to Auto Europe and having Clear Bra installed Wednesday morning... http://www.autoeuropesales.com...mid=1

Cool! I was going to suggest they just put a GT spoiler on since it comes painted to match.I still have my old non-GT spoiler sitting in the garage. Not sure what to do with it. So I set it next to my stock Civic tail lights.

Well... The story continues...Tonight coming back from the store, pulled into the driveway, was looking over the Vibe again, and noticed the antenna is missing... Looks like they forgot to put it back on... *Sigh*Calling them in the morning to see if they have it laying around and will ask them to mail it to me overnight.

Well it has been a little more than 4 months and the 09 Vibe has not been washed. I think in the next few weeks it will get a wash + wax before winter. Still in the process of piecing together a winter tire + rim package.

So, did you get the antenna back?
