Welcome! I really like the G6 also. I'll really miss Pontiac styling when they are gone.

Looks good, I like the lowered look on the fox bodies. I know a little bit about the fox bodies, but I didn't know they made a Cobra in 1988, I know they did in 93 (Cobra, and Cobra R).

I worked for a Ford dealer in the summer of 1984 (I think) and the Mustang SVT was new that year (IIRC). Got to drive one down to the convention center for some kind of auto show that year. That was fun.In a world where I didn't need a more practical vehicle, I'd be driving a 2005-2009 Mustang.

Welcome... love the stang.... Have always loved that body style. By brother had a white one just like it with black leather.... F-ing thing hauled! I loved hitting 80mph in second gear, just as it red lined. LOL

the Cobra thing is a Canadian thing,if you go to mustanggt.org it'll explain all about it. Not much difference than an American GT

Not much difference than an American GTI figured so... good to know thanks for the link.I just spoke to my dad tonight, he was looking at a 07 GT500 w/ 6k miles on it... I think he's going to pass, but you never know...All this mustang talk started making me think again...I started looking for a roller again. I have way too many projects! Enough stang talk for one day... Welcome again.

Oops! Yes, the SVO. Shockingly quick for a little four banger. I liked the SVO's body work better than the 5.0 GT. IIRC, the hood scoop was offset. Cool.

Are they all insured at once?.....That would be about 4K a year.

Okay Snake. My 07 Vibe is $1,369Basic insurance 762Third Party Liability(2 mil) 119Collision(300 ded) 290Comprehensive 145Licence Fee 53 My 93 Silverado $1,162Basic insurance 778Collision 75Comprehensive 126License fee 97That $2500 for both vehicles. We both use ICBC. Your comment "full replacement cost" I dont get. Also there are different levels of "collision" so "full collision" would mean $300 deductible. So how is it you get insurance on the rustang for $600 a year.

full replacement cost means if i crack either car up I get it replaced free gratis, that's only for the first three years of the cars life,as long as you have collision, after that you can drop collision if you want and that would drop the insurance to around 600,that's with my 25% discount for 65 and over that's also with my 40 % for the road star deductionAnd be careful how you talk about my rust free rustang :D
