Hey, guys. I've been lurking on here for a while, but I finally decided to post up.I drive a 2008 Pontiac G5 5-speed, with about 19,000 miles on it. She's my 2-door baby Daily Driver. My mom drives a 2004 Vibe with the 1zz-fe, that we've already had to replace, due to oil starvation. No pictures of it yet, but I'll get some eventually. Here's some pictures of my car though

G5 looks good! you just need to drop it, and with those wheels dropped would look hot! Also, very smart to throw in a few pictures for the leg humpers, sure ups the responses!

Yeah, I've actually got a set of springs sitting on my kitchen table right now, I'm just not sure if I want to install those, or wait a month or two until I get my Eibach's.

The Springs you currently have, are they a cheap brand or not the amount of drop you looking for? just curious, I like talking suspension because I think it's one of the biggest things you can do to improve your car both in looks and in performance. Definitely post pics up when you get it lowered!

Definitely post pics up when you get it lowered!I actually have the springs from a stock Supercharged Cobalt SS. They'll improve the handling of the car significantly, but it will only lower it about 1/2"-3/4". So nothing substantial. The Eibach Sportlines drop it about 2".

Sportlines FTW, I had those on my eclipse, and probably my favorite springs so far, I've had Tein S techs on my Civic, and Canuck racing on my Vibe. If I wouldn't have gotten my springs so cheap I would have considered the Pro-lines for the vibe b/c I think they were less of a drop. Looks like you could use about a 1 1/2 - 2" drop to make it look nice and not too low. On my civic I started with a 4" drop raised it 1 1/4" and then bought the Tein's because I didn't want to mess with coil-overs anymore.Pic I found of the old girl:

LOL ^Quote, originally posted by rAERRK »do you still have it? if so how much do you want for it? I really wish I did, I rebuilt the motor and tranny, and pretty much everything was perfect on it excpet the hood and front bumper (rock chips) 500 miles into my rebuilt some stupid lady t-boned me. I was going to fix it, but while I was driving it waiting for insurance to take care of everything something happened to a lower bolt where the tranny mounted up to the motor and skewed everything and basically seazed up the motor and wrecked the transmission... I got an extra $3k out of insurance for the motor and tranny since I had receipts of just replacing it.
