what,s the best quality cooler on the market cost? is it a tranny shop that usually does the installing and how much labor time is usually involved? my vibe has 100,000 miles on it now and we,ve also got a 2004 corolla that,s fast approaching 100,000. i bought em with high mileage and neither ever had fluid replaced.both operating ok nowadays,but having nightmares about the cost of future tranny rebuild.

I had a B&M one from some online retailer summit for like 30-40 bucks. Install I was going to do myself....

Most of the factory installed auxiliary tranny coolers I've seen are of the "headered" type vs the "tube & fin" type. The headered type is less susceptible to damage from objects that may enter the grill (rocks, etc,) area. I installed the B&M headered type cooler on our Vibe. At one time I had posted pics and details of my install. They may still be available using the search function.
