i was trying to remove my rear wiper arm. i took off the cap, removed the nut, and the arm won't come off. the nut was pretty rusty and took a little muscle to get it off. as i understand it the arm should come right off. please let me know what im missing here.thanks

I have never done this to my Vibe, but if you got the nut off, the wiper arm itself is now corroded to the motor shaft. There are wiper arm puller tools made to pull the arm off the shaft. Otherwise, soak it down with PB Blaster and keep trying.

Thanks, I did a little more research yesterday. found the wiper pullers and got one. worked great. i even had to use a wrench on the puller knob to be able to get enough force to pop off the wiper arm. it was really on there.everything is is good now.thanks for the tip.

Excellent! I did not see you were in Mich too, otherwise I would have loaned you my puller. I would also put some antiseize on the wiper arm shaft hole now that you got it off, if you have not already.
