Transmission Cooler seems to improve a/c performance

Is it possible that a tranny cooler could provide noticable performance improvement? Odd things: I recently installed a transmission cooler on the Vibe in order to tow something and noticed a day or two later the a/c seems to be working better. I was actually too cold and had to turn the fan down from 3 to 2. It doesn't make any sense because the transmission condenser is not connected to the radiator. I noticed in 92 degree weather in heavy traffic that the temperature guage is running a tad lower (The needle was about half way up the little thermometer icon on the guage, now it's at the bottom of the icon) and the transmission seems a little less slushy. Is it my imagination? Or maybe the guy who installed the cooler accidentally de-pressurized my a/c and topped it off? I would never have guessed that the cooler would provide any noticeable change.

the factory cooler is in the radiator so less heat there might equate to cooler engine . also the ac condenser coil is on the radiator. but i doubt youll or your car could be able to feel that difference. my guess is tranny less hot. less heat being tranfered to cabin of car.

nope, it's running a bit cooler. The Aux fan doesn't kick on as much as it used to in heavy traphic

Well, I'm not completely crazy. My girlfriend also noticed that the a/c is too cold now. Strange. I'm guessing it has nothing to do with the transmission cooler.

Tranny cooler will have no effect on A/C performance.....zero, zip, nada but your tranny will thank you after the install.

Has not affected the mileage. Got a nice 30.4 mpg highway on a trip from Pittsburgh to Columbus this past week. That's one of my top 10 scores.
