New Vibe Owner --> '09 2.4L Red Hot Metallic

Hi All!I'll post pictures later on (at school and dont have my memory card on me, d'oh!) but I just took delivery last Monday (it's only been one week!) on my brand new 2009 Vibe 2.4L 5-Speed Automatic.With dealer cash back, Loyalty, and trade in, I couldn't pass up this car! I live in Michigan right now, but I'm moving to Virginia in about 2 months. My previous car (98 grand prix gt, loved that car) was getting harder and harder to maintain (4th gear spline broke on the transmission, no A/C) so I traded it in and got this vibe!It's a 2.4L Auto, with:--AC--Power Package--Moon and Tune--17" Aluminum--Roof Rack--Fog Lamps--Security SystemDidn't want the leather seats or spoiler or I'd have gone GT! But so far this car is kicking. I love being higher off the ground than my Grand Prix, and it drives so smoothly!Had to install front license plate bracket on it, and although I was very worried, I think it looks great. Once I get my personalized VA license plate on it, it's going to be rocking again! I'll take some pictures tonight, but it's nice to know that there's a whole community out here for vibes!Best Wishes, and looking forward to being a part of the community.

Congrats on the purchase, this site is really a nice Vibe Communitiy (and some other cars too (previous owners)) I stumbled on this site while looking to see if anyone did anything to their vibes, I never left, I told my wife I wasn't going to do anything to the car.. maybe some tint, and maybe something for the audio, but that was it...well 2 years, and let's see. rims, tint, stereo, roof rack caps, GM body kit, lowering springs, rear mid gate spoiler, strut tower brace, and whatever else... yep I keep telling her it's stock.. or at least this is what it should have looked like stock...LOLWelcome!

Welcome! Your car sounds great! I just got mine (very similar to yours) on the 13th. The new Vibe rides and handles much better than I expected.

Standing beside the rear door instead of the front would make the car seem bigger
