Today's [6/20/09] Columbus Dispatch - New 2009 Pontiac Vibe 1.8L MSRP $19,480 for $16,999 or $14,999 for current GM Owners [stock P9246], or $259/mo for 72 months 2.9% apr with $999 down. Chesrown - Delaware, OH (20 mi north of Columbus) http://www.chesrown.com877-853-6611I guess I did not waste my time posrting this info last Sat. as one GenVibe member who asked me to send him the ad drove 100 miles from Minster, OH and bought one of these so it is for real. He said he was going to post a pic etc. but I have not seen it.This $19,480 msrp has a/c, at and power pkg. The Chesrown website lists 5 Vibes at deep discounts and a $100 add'l web discount. There was also a G6 msrp 21,215 for $14,249 for GM owners, and a Cobalt Coupe XFE msrp 15.925 for $12,295.Bob Daniels in Columbus http://www.bobdanielscars.comadvertised a new 2009 Vibe with AT (stock # 9155) at $259/mo with $1000 down, 72 months, 2.9% apr. Website says it is red, msrp $19,480, price of $17,980 but I suspect that could also be bought at $14,999 after GM owner rebate.I don't have any connection to these dealers - just passing on information.

Good deal! And they still make a profit on it!

I got a similar deal in January - plus I had $3,000 GM Card credit. From my observation these generous deals seem to be on specific stock numbers. I don't think these dealers are selling cars at $2,000 under invoice. I suspect that GM gave an extra $2,000 dealer incentive on specific orders - the dealer can keep the incentive money/use for advertising etc. or use it to move that metal.
