steering wheel pulling

My steering wheel pulls slightly to one side, only when I brake. This would be from uneven wear on brakes or a caliper problem, wouldn't it, rather than alignment?I've noticed the parking brake is also quite loose, to the point where you can easily take off and drive with it on. raz

Sounds like you need both an alignment AND a brake job, Sir.. the pulling is usually an alignment issue, could be more though, like a tie rod end.. If the TRE is lose/failing, it can change direction under the torque of braking..

Definitely start off with an alignment and then have them look at the brakes. You could have an uneven wear issue where the whole pad is not contacting the rotor, thus causing a skewed pad.As for me, I'm in for an tire rotation and balance before I make my trip. At highways speeds the car has a little wobble on the steering wheel, stays straight just wobbles so the tires need a little maintenance, its been awhile I broke the every other oil change rule.
