Hey thanks for that info. What paper was it in, as we don't get any columbus papers in west central ohio. I'll be taking a look at this when I go there today for sure. Can you scan the ad at all and send me the picture? Thanks!!

I responded to your IM. I don't have ability to scan. Minster - I remember draft beer and fried chicken at the Wooden Shoe Inn - probably long gone. Busey's Meats in Ft. Loramie - I know they are closed as I stopped there a couple of years ago in a failed attempt to get some more of the best sausage in the world. My grandfather had a cabin at Ft. Loramie Lake - he must have been rich as his outhouse there was a two holer.

I paid about $14,700 out the door for my '03 msrp 18,690 with the help of a $2,000 rebate and $2,003 GM Card earnings but my '09 deal (msrp 19,480) at $13,300 out the door with the help of $1,500 rebates and $3,000 GM Card earnings beat it.. No trade-in on either.

If you search Pontiac.com for the dealer (Chesrown) by zip code 43015, and search Vibe 1.8 inventory, you'll find two 1.8 Vibes listed: one Red Hot Metallic, one ultra white, both with an MSRP of $19,480, so you can see how they're equipped.

The $19,480 is the 1.8L with AC. AT and Power Package. Sometime very late in the 2009 model run the destination charge was increased by $150 so this became $19,630. The 2010's with that configuration are $19,630. While the 2010 with this configuration is the same price as the 2009 ending price, the price of the 2009 went up a total of $990 during that model year. The '09 with that configuration at intro was $18,640. That was $455 less than the '08 ending price even though the '09 now had as standard 4 wheel disc antilock brakes, 6 airbags and Stabiltrak. Those 3 would have added an extra $1,765 to the '08. A couple of things were lost such as fog lights, roof rack and fold down front passenger seat. So with the '09 you got a lot more "safety" but lost a little convenience.I think Pontiac was forced to include these standard safety features due to competition.
