Check Engine Light

I own a '05 Vibe AWD with 55K miles on it, drive mostly highway. Check engine light came on and drove to local auto parts store, put a code reader on it and came up reading: O2 Sensor, High Volts, Bank 1, Sensor 2. The technician at the store said it was mostly a spike in the voltage to have that type of message. Suggested to clear the code and start over reading it again. This time, the engine light did light up on the dash until the next morning. Any Ideas on a Fix to this problem?

The O2 sensor is probably under warranty for 80K miles. Check with your dealer.

I agree with RIT, emissions control parts get an 80K mile warranty, try to get a dealer to fix it for free.
