Which is the correct off set ?

Which is the correct off set for after market alloys ? I found 16" Celica GT wheels , the seller states they have an off set of 55. 16x 7 Would that fit ? Please let me know someone. So I know if i should buy them. thanks,Peter

I don't know the offset, the wheels I just put on have an offset of 45mm. Double check the bolt pattern. I don't think the offset will be a problem.

I am told that Toyota uses 5x100 pattern. Thats the same as the Vibe, right ?

Vibe/Matrix offsets for the 03 thru 08s range from 39 to 45mm. The 16 inch steel and alloy wheels are 39mm and the 17 inch alloy has a 45mm offset. Don't know if they changed offsets for the 09 mondel year. A 55mm offset would put the outside edge of the wheel about 10mm farther inside the wheel well than the 45mm. I bought a 38mm offset 17 inch wheel to bring the tire and wheel out to the edge of the Vibe wheel well lip. Ended up almost flush... just a few mms from the edge.
