Looks so much better to me. Anyone else happy with removing the pinstripes on thier vibe too? I feel that the car look much cleaner without it.

Never liked them! Painted or stuck on, does not matter. Way too seventies!

.. My vibe came with hand painted pin stripes when I bought it. I think they look cool and make it unique. I wouldn't want to take them off... maybe yours didn't look so great?

I read your comments and decided to take my pin stripes off. I went as far taking the ones on my work van a cargo Windstar(white). Almost done. They came off easier than the Vibe 06 pins i am working on. I think it looks better. Anyhow which exotic or elegant cars have pin striping ?LOL.... none. My 911 does not and the Mustang GT never had them. Now I just have to get the glue off . If it wasn't so HOT here I would need a hair dryer to take them off LOL....... just a thought..

I watched on Trucks! last weekend that they used some yellowish pad that attached to a drill and got all the adhesive off super easy. You may look into that as if it's that hot the WD-40 method may not work that well at this time.

Had some on mine that the dealer installed (and did a really bad job at, they scratched the paint in several locations with a razor blade.) They were looking horrible after 3 years and had chunks crumbling apart each time I washed the car.Now I have two dark lines running the length of the car where the stripes once laid from where the rest of the paint faded a little. Hard to see unless you're looking for it but the fact that it's there makes me want to restripe the thing.

I had a tough time removing the leftover adhesive. I tried goo-gone and that didnt work, so I applied mothers car wax and rubbed it out with a cloth. Tried with my orbital buffer but didnt come out. It took a couple of tries rubbing out by hand.....I didnt even think of WD-40! Too late now LOL.
