Trying to figure out when the last Vibe will be produced. Will there be a 2010 model available for purchase? Then you should be able to buy one new thru summer of 2010. Pending upon the eventual disolution of the Pontiac brand of course.

I read somewhere Pontiac was adding a/some new color(s) for 2010... I don't know if they are going to continue with it though.

...our local GMC-Pontiac dealer ordered a 2010 5-speed base model...and it arrived in April! ...the window "sticker" clearly indicated that it was a 2010 1.8L model...of course, it was in generic "white" paint job!

2010's are on the lot now. They haven't quit making them and probably won't for several months. As long as there isn't a run on Vibes and they continue to build them until the end of the 2010 MY, I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to find one new on a lot next year.

You know what this means? First gen Vibes will go into the books as a much longer running and more successful version of the car, compared to second gen Vibes... that only ran 2 model years before it was dropped.Must mean the first gen Vibe will be considered historically as the better design!

Could be rare in 30 to 40 years. Buy a new Vibe, put it in a protected place, make sure its well oiled, and voila... in 40 years, it's a rare collectors item! GM would leave a pretty big hole in the line up if the Vibe completely dissapears. Gas prices are on the way up again, so the popularity of a fairly roomy Utility wagon that has the capability of getting great mpg should be a pretty good sell. That it turns out to be reliable and durable is just another plus. Vibes are - a well done rare car.

It's actually a pretty cool looking color. It's definitely different that's for sure.My local dealer currently has 3 2010 Vibes on their lot, including the Ignition Orange Metallic one so they are out there, but as previously stated, who knows when they will stop producing them.

Ignition Orange Metallic. Good, besides Red Hot Metallic, it's the only other NON bland colour for the Vibe (how many greys do you need???)
