Blade vs. Glass fuse help

I put in a 4 button junction box this past weekend to sellectively control my led setup. At first I had some issues with it, but once I replaced the tubular glass fuse, it started working again. I noticed tonight when I was trying to take pics to post that it wasn't working again. I immediately went to the fuse. Well since I couldn't twist it at first, I grabbed some pliers and I started to notice that if I twisted a certain way, they would come on, but then immediately go off. I don't like the twist setup with the glass fuse and esp since it's now an issue, I would like to switch it to a regular blade fuse. Will this be a problem switching from the glass fuse to a blade fuse? The fuse is 30A btw which I highly doubt will make a difference.

Blades are better, definitely... if you could solder a simple blade fuse holder to the glass holder terminals.. good to go..
