I love how you used the phrase "sexy as hell" three times in that post . Absolutely appropriate too, that car is ..well, sexy. as hell. The two-tone looks awesome. I've thought about doing the gunmetal wheels as well, but I've got gray cladding around the base of mine, wonder how it'd look? Anyway, very nicely done.

Gunmetal rims would be sweet, just like the paint. Is the filter fully enclosed with the scoop?

Nice 2 tone, you were mentioned in a thread about painting the stock alloys and i really like the look of yours. Do you have any suggestions or tips that would help me with mine? Any special paint or prep work? Thanks!

lol...no more passenger seatbelt light, huh? And I love the rear bumper. All around nice Vibe boss. When you finished tinting the taillights, were ou able to able to get them as shiny as they were beforehand? Mine are nice, but have a matte finish. Looks good because my rides white, but just curious. And I bet them Audiobahns move air!

YA... I put like 3 coats of clear on my tail light. i wet sanded with 2200 grit between coats. there no mate and not shiny. in the mid. i just haven't had time to buff them out yet. get a good 3 stage buffing compound (like mother's) start out at stage 1 and work up to stage 3 with a wool buffing pad. ya the subs a louder then hell if play boom boom pow with the vol only at 20 out of 50 and the damn rear view mirror shake down with in 7 sec. lol

i used dupli-color wheel paint. you can get it at auto zone. it comes in silver, gunmetal and black. I washed the wheels, scuffed up the front and with a brown scotch brite pad (also from auto zone) scuffed the wheels up really good until the silver started to look white. washed the off with only water. blew the dry with a air gun. make sure to get the water between the tire and the rim lip. taped off the tires. i applied 2 light even coats. i let the tires set in the sun between coats. i sprayed 2 at a time. this gave the ones in the sun time to flash dry. i made sure the every part of the coat was cover with each coat. it only took 1 can. i didnt clear cause i wanted matte wheel. this is the paint auto zone carries now. http://www.autozone.com/autozo...Oleum
