What is the CORRECT part # for the sparkplugs for a stock 1.8L Vibe..Iridium or Platinum ?

OK,Ive searched matrixowners, genvibe and corolla sites.There does not seem to be a FINAL answerWhat is OEM for the 2005 non GT VibeSome say Iridium, some say Platinum, is the gap 0.044 ?Some say Denso , some say NGKSo, what is the factory recommendation? That is the question

http://www.sparkplugs site indicates OEM is platinum also,...or am I reading it incorrectly...and looks like there are several choices of irridium from the same mfr. .....and looks like there are at least 3 different gaps based on the 3 mfrs.I am still confused.Plz clarifyThanks

Apologies for any confusion.Rock Auto
http://www.rockauto.com/ shows Iridium .044 gap as the original equipment.Searched other posts and it looks like Denso is the OEM.Good luck.

I pulled the stock plugs out of my car last weekend. They are Denso Iridium plugs. After 70k miles they are holding up very well. I cleaned and reinstalled them.

i replaced mine today @ 100000kms w/ NGK Iridium IXfollowed this ->

Hi ehoff,I appreciate your response. Looks like iridium it is.Wow, just checked the site, too many to choose from, are we talking Denso or Bosch Iridium.There sure are plenty of opinions, just lookin for clarification.Can anyone tell me what Toyota says is the recommended time to change plugsI have over 69k miles on mine.Thanks alllg

That guide is helpful, +1 on recremended time to change plugs, and injectors
