Alternative Keyless Entry Remotes?

OK, Here's a fun question. Are there any other Keyless Entry Remotes that work with the vibe that are cooler/better built than the one it comes with? I have to admit I'm a tad spoiled since I've owned a new beetle for the last 2years prior to getting the vibe. VW/Audi/etc have the cool remotes with the built in switchblade type ignition key. These are well built and VERY handy. Also is is there anyone who makes something like this for vibes (or any car in general)? Sorta like a custom key company? I hope I'm making sense. The remote that comes with the vibe just seems cheap and ready to fall apart.

From what I understand, you would need a whole new receiver installed in the car too to change out the keyless transmitter...AFAIK, you cannot get an aftermarket transmitter to work with the car.

Right, but are there any that would be GM/Toyota Compattible. Sorta like Aftermarket replacements for OEM stuff thats just better. I feel like I'm gonna break this thing when I open my car.

I dunno, I'm sure its fine but I'm used to something a bit more rugged. I'm just afraid I'm gonna drop it and screw it up. BTW I found something interesting on ebay that sorta relates to what I've been looking for. Now I just gotta figure out a rig to get the guts of the remote working in this thing
