Carbon fiber wrapping just got a LOT easier

Hi all,I know a lot here like to do interior mods.... Well, I do to, but I'm a bit more selective.... I also like Carbon Fiber a LOT... To get to the point, I finally found something that looks so good, you can't hardly tell the difference between this and the real deal... I mean things look like real dry carbon lay-ups.. I plan on using a lot of the "cloth" shown in this link...
http://www.e90post.com/forums/...03272More info and pricing...
http://www.e90post.com/forums/...85836NO, it is not real CF cloth, but it IS cloth, not vinyl so it's got good stretch to it to wrap odd parts (you'll see in the link)This make life SOOOOOOOO much easier and a LOT more stylish than the fake or vinyl stuff... Problem is, it's 40$ per yard... BUT, considering what real CF trim goes for, it's CHEAP... Enjoy... (BTW, if you want any, you need to contact
Jo@eurodyne.com) Please note: I have zero affiliation to this, I'm just SUPER psyched...!!!!!! (and if it's good enough for the Bimmer crew, well, you know)

well $38 a square yard? doesnt seem to bad considering real like CF wrapping... think of time and money saved... but for fabric yes its expensive. maybe we should wait till china makes a knock off fabric

Well, i'll tell you guys, i've been on a CF vinyl hunt lately and this is by far the best i've found for the application... I true CF dash kit could cost upwards of 400$, for 40$ you could wrap the WHOLE DASH... Value indeed..

Chime in when you go to install it so we can have your opinions on it. I like the way it looks. Sure would be nice if turned out easy to apply.

Well, if you look through the threads I posted, it sure looks easy enough, look at some of the curves and concave bits theve wrapped... I just wish I could get a sample... not being able to is really "off putting"..

Saw the thread pics, but even though it looks well applied, it will be better to find some hands on perspective. Especially from someone not associated with the company.

So, I got word, I WON'T be getting a sample... There take on it is that it's the biggest portion of thier business right now, I mean the stuff is hard to keep in stock busy I guess... So, with that they say, everyone else is satisfied with it, so why take the time to send a sample... (removed)...

UPDATE:Fellas.... GOOD NEWS...I got a sample...!!!I didn't get it from Joe@Eurodyne, but someone else that saw my plight on another forum...The stuff is NICE... I have some flat, rigid, CF trim stock hanging around, and when you line up the weave in the trim with the cloth and start moving it around, it's hard to tell a difference, BESIDES the sheen... The trim stock I have is smooth, shiny... The cloth is obviously a matte "pre-preg" finish..It moves, the stuff is like 1mm thick, very soft, very..... smooth feeling... It stretches well in one direction, but just ok, in the other direction, as you can all see, it works well for the intricate curves of trim panels, so it feels like it works THAT well..If anyone would like their OWN sample, it'll cost ya 1$... You can contact
bass4hire@aol.com (Kurt) to get a sample...This is NOT a SALE thread, just a direction to take, so that is all I am posting AFA that is concerned... And no, I have ZERO affiliation with "Kurt" I payed my buck and got my sample..I can say this, sample in hand, an order won't be far behind..The 1x4" strip is some real CF flat trim stock I had around, for reference... It's hard to make it look good with my camera, but it's a stunning match compared to the vinyl available, at least what i've seen of it.. I've seen a LOT of fake CF vinyl and other carbon "like" products, and I have to say that this is BY FAR, the most real looking stuff, i've seen... The only thing I found that comes close, is the vinyl I saw on the back of a Sparco seat, once.. It looked really good too, but I've never seen anything close to THAT looked like, in a vinyl or anything, until I found this...
