Door Ajar Light Stays dimly lit.

Well I've been searching around and can't find any solution to this problem though it was discussed several times. Today my door ajar light began to stay dimly illuminated at all times. I checked every door, the hatch, and hatch glass. They all function properly, and when opened the ajar light gets bright and lights come on. When I close it the interior lights go off and ajar light goes back to dim. I unhooked the battery for an hour and when I hooked it back up the problem was gone. But then I started it and the light came back on dimly. It is sitting in the garage with everything off but the ajar light is on still. Any ideas? I the other threads were not all that conclusive. One I read said the dealer replaced his circuit board for the hatch and a harness. I don't want the dealer to be tearing my car apart for days trying to figure out the problem. Thanks, -Sean-
