Superbowl XLIII

Anyone doing anything fun for the Superbowl today? The whole city of Pittsburgh has been cranked up this past week in anticipation of the game! What an awesome time to be in the city! When we won Superbowl XL in 2005 it was the same type of atmosphere. Police will be blocking off entire sections of the city because people get WAY out of control and totally belligerant drunk. One of my best friends owns a pizza shop near the edge of the city limits on a main street so I'm going there to party and help out for the day. He's got a 10'X10' tent to put up on the sidewalk in front of the shop, bringing his BBQ grill from home and got a keg of beer. Just about the entire city will be throwing one big tailgate party all day and all night!HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!! WELCOME TO "SIXBURGH" BABY!!!And remember kids---70% of the Earth's surface is covered by water, the remaining 30% is covered by TROY POLAMALU!!! Go #43!!!Today is the day that James "The Animal" Harrison gets to have a Kurt Warner snack!I have nothing personal against the Arizona Cardinals and in fact totally respect them for beating all the odds and coming this far this season but I gotta LOVE MY BLACK & GOLD!!! GO STEELERS!!!

i'm torn between the two, having lived both in Pennsylvania (although closer to Philly) and Phoenix. I've got to root for the underdog, it's just my way, so I'm pulling for the Cardinals. Keep in mind, I haven't watched a game all season so what do I know?

I grew up in Western Pa. It doesn't get better than this. I'll be going to a Super Bowl party shortly. Should I wear my Polamolu or Ward jersey? LOL

The Saskatchewan Rough Riders have always been in Saskatchewan. For some stupid reason the CFL had 2 teams with the same name, although spelled differently.

I must admit, it was a great game! I don't generally follow football that much but i was a bit excited to see my local team in the superbowl. I can't help but wonder what would have happened if the Steelers hadn't pulled off that 100 yard interception return. My wife and I were rooting for the Cardinals...but neither of us are fans by any means. I mean, come on...It's the Arizona Cardinals after all!!! They were so out of place it was scary. What was with the insane amount of flags during the game? I don't think I have ever seen that many penalties in one game. Over all though it turned out to be a great game. As usual, the commercials were awesome!!!
