oh ya... everyone's all panicking about it. happened a couple years ago too. *shrug* if it blows, it blows...when we moved up in Aug 92, Mt Spurr errupted and left 2-3" of pumice ash EVERYWHERE. but I believe Phil and I are prepared with filters and those cool masks should we get any ash. Did that the last time and we never needed it. But..... always better to be sure, right?

Yeah, hopefully it blows over though. I'm prepared but would rather not need to deal with the fall out.

uh, you don't want to drive in it or go anywhere in it. you'll want to wear a really cool dust mask and also make sure you cover your air intake and close all your air ducts in your house so you don't suck it up.

see you learn something new everyday. I guess it must play havoc on the local economy if everything just shuts down because of the ash. Not to mention the mess left behind... must be hard to clean that stuff up too.

well, we got another 5" of snow last night, so between that and the left over ash fall, it's kinda keeping it down (dust wise). But they are saying we may be getting a lot more ash this week as the winds are blowing this direction and it keeps going off. went off again today, that's like 10 or 11 times now?? the last time Redoubt went off, it was for 5 months! It's really hurting sales (since i do own a business) and lots of flights to/from AK are being canceled.
