That's nothing... try telling your wife you lost your wedding ring, and to find out the price of platinum has tripled so that $800 ring is now $2200+.

Yeah, that really is nothing! In December I was watching WAY too many stupid streaming video, movies, TV shows, etc. on my aircard. (who knew I had a monthly limit? I sure didn't! LOL) My cel+mom's cel+aircard that month: $297 (combined bill w/family plan) Oh well... live and learn...no more HULU for me! I deleted it from my bookmarks...out of sight, out of mind!

honestly? over 300?? why? i've never used more than my 100 or so out going text messages or 700 outgoing minutes (haha, free incomming call/texts). i have never been that anxious to be online to watch some show, go on a forum, or just browse before.and for the price people are paying for those "unlimited" data plans is just nuts. it is so slow compared to cable/dsl. always check to see what the max is on the "unlimited" plan.

You gotta love that minute billing, they always round up. 1 minute 3 seconds equals 2 minutes. That's why I keep my old plan from 1999, it has second billing, it helps a lot. Canada has some of the most expensive cell phone rates in the world. Oh and Amtron, Ottawa has the second highest bus rates in North America, second only to San Francisco.WHEN THEY AREN'T ON STRIKE FOR 2 MONTHS

wow, so your life is worth 129$... I got 130, let's make a deal.... ;o)I just called in my altel bill, which is usually 130 something... the automated thing says to me I owe 450$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, they charged us for a replacement phone, that my GF hadden't sent back... We do web over cell, much like the "aircard" mentioned above, but we opted for the phone, which is nice, because if we have people visiting from out of state or something, we can loan out the phone...

mine is 101.88 every month. I rarely go over the minutes and have unlimited data transfer (web) and text. The state employee discount doesn't hurt though

How far are you into your contract? You can always call *611 and ask to speak to retentions (client loyalty what ever they call it these days lol) and ask to re-evaluate your plan. Telus a while back had a 50 student plan is that what you are on?For some good tips, news etc check out

I kind of hate the thing.where i live and with the company i use i am allowed to change my plan without having to extend my contract. that's nice. i wish i was in CA, they can cancel their cell contracts without having to pay that BS $200+ contract cancellation fee.
