Just outta curiosity, can anyone explain why GrafxWerks charges $2 more for the GenVibe decal that is outlined than the one that is filled in?I would think the filled in one used more ink, thus would cost more. *shrug* I just found that odd.

They both require the same amount of vinyl (no ink involved), but the outlined one takes considerably longer to weed (the excess vinyl had to be removed from the outside, as well as from the inside of each letter).- RyanGrafxWerks

Oh wow, I didn't know you guys were on here. Awesome! That's really cool, I never thought about how they were made...I get it now! Now, can you tell me which one looks better? Outline or filled in? I'm thinking of getting filled in in reflective white, but I want someone to tell me they look good because I'm torn as to whether to get outlined or full letter, and then what color to get! ARGH! DECISIONS!

Touchless are no problem. Also, if you have problems with the decal (peeling, etc), I will replace it.The only decals that require a bit of extra care are the badge overlays and bumper inlays. The badge overlays are a bit more subject to the abuse of the car wash because they are on the raised badge. Window decals will take a considerable amount of abuse.- RyanGrafxWerks

During the daytime, do the badge overlays look like the badge would without them? Like, does the dart look red? Or would it be a different color? Just curious...

If you buy blue badge overlays, they are blue in the day and a brighter blue at night (take a look at Aaron's pics). All the reflective colors reflect the same color except the black (which reflects white). Thus if you order Reflective Bright Yellow, they will be bright yellow by day and light up bright yellow at night.- RyanGrafxWerks

Mike's decals were shipped by letterpost, yours were bulk mail (tube-shipped) due to the banner. Tubes take 10-14 business days, letterpost is only 7-10.- RyanGrafxWerks

Oh No! you said the "B" word! Now the feds are gonna start monitoring this site.... then they'll get so enthralled with how great Vibes are, they'll start buying them for mail delivery! Picture thousands of Frosty Vibes with a USPS emblem on the door - how's that for a decal!

I ordered a freaking POSTER from Nettwerk productions in Canada...it said clearly on the tube POSTERS and they still shredded open the tube, and demolished the posters in it by the time I got it.GRRRR customs....Ryan -- Love the decals! Thanks!!!!Question though -- it said in the directions that they can get brittle in the extreme cold -- I don't have to worry about them falling off this coming winter right? The adhesive will hang in there? LOL! Also, it's only been about 50-60 degrees here the last few days...how do I know the adhesive is proeprly set up? Thanks!

I think the Bright Blue looks really good on Silver. If I end up buying the overlays, I will be getting the bright blue ones for sure.

On silver I'd either go with Bright Blue, Purple or Black. Reflective White looks good too, but it looks better as a bordered badge replacement than it does as an overlay.- RyanGrafxWerks

Oo oo oo free advice! ;-)2-tone Shadow here, I am thinking about going with red reflectives, or black reflectives.Any suggestions? (This is for the sides, and rear, possible the Pontiac Inlay as well andperhaps the front Emblem)

quote:Does the rear brake overlay go on the outside of the glass or stick to the plastic inside the glass? The one I offer on the site goes on the outside of the glass. Triton and I are working on one that mounts on the inside of the glass, but it is semi-permanent if you have tint (very hard to remove vinyl from tint without damaging the tint).quote:2-tone Shadow here, I am thinking about going with red reflectives, or black reflectives.Any suggestions? (This is for the sides, and rear, possible the Pontiac Inlay as well and perhaps the front Emblem)Well, first off, I don't guarantee the longevity of the rear "PONTIAC" inlay on non-monotone models. I know many have installed them without problems, but just a heads-up.My suggestion would be Reflective Black - simply because I am not a big fan of the red. If you do go Red, I prefer the Dark Red. The Bright Red is very tomato-ish in color, whereas the Dark Red is a deeper (not quite cherry) red. It just looks classier IMO.I'd also ponder the Reflective White - it looks great as well, it is actually a very bright metallic silver color. It would match your wheels quite well.- RyanGrafxWerks

No, he just thought it would look better on the inside (I agree). Outside mount is much easier tho, and just as durable. In order to install it on the inside, you have to remove the shroud from the rear glass or something I believe. I'm sure Aaron will step in here and fill you in.- Ryan
