Here's what I have:2003 Pontiac GT w/M&T packageAlpine IDA-x100 HUUniversal Wiring HarnessSony X-Plod 800W amplifier12" kenmore Sub8G Amp install kitdouble din to single din adapterHere's my question:I have secured someone who will privately install my sound system, for this reason I need to have everything he will need ahead of time. What am I missing? More specifically, do I need any other wires to adapt the tweeters to the IDA-x100? He's done this before so I'm sure he knows what to do, I just need to make sure I have everything. Please make me a grocery list.I am too lazy to search your forums for the answer. It's ok to hate me.Thanks.

Sorry not much help with your question, some great audio people on here that should respond soon... curious to see how you like that HU once everything is installed. Trying to figure out if I should get it over on this thread:

Depends what your "private installer" has for equipment. Solder and wire shrink wrap for the wiring harness (also, what's a universal harness? Thought they were make/model specific). The vibe dash isn't a full blown double din, so you'll need a vibe dash kit. Some folks like a line-level converter when hooking up to the M&T amp.Quote, originally posted by Goldfish »12" kenmore SubKenmore? Like the dishwasher? Alright, enough bashing of the post, I made it at 12:30 AM.By Kenmore I of course meant Kenwood, by Pontiac GT I meant Vibe GT, so forth. I'll look into a line-level converter. Will any one do or do you have one to recommend? Also to be fair I did try searching the forums. There's just way too much here. Figured someone did it often enough to just rattle off a list of what I'm missing.

Your private installer should be able to get a hold of the Vibe's wiring diagram and know what you need and do not need correct? The private installer should be able to supply you or have access to the correct supplies.
