Check Eng Light (P0133) "O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response"

The ScanGaugeII translated the Check Eng Light into a Code P0133 = O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1). Does the Bank 1, Sensor 1 mean the pre-catalytic converter or the post-catalytic converter sensor? My Vibe is a 2004 w/ 78,900+ miles and I'm sure that the original owner never replaced either of the two oxygen sensors.Should I be seriously thinking of a replacement or do you think the P0133 resulted from a momentary condition that may not repeat itself? I cleared the fault 3 days ago and it hasn't repeated yet.

Bank 1 sensor 1 is the first sensor in the exhaust manifold. I'd wait and see if the code returns. With your mileage it's a little soon for an O2 sensor to fail but it may be getting lazy and is on it's way out.

I've read in some other GenVibe oxygen sensor related threads that there have been problems w/ the Bosch brand universal sensors. What do you think of the BWD, Niehoff, or Walker oxygen sensors?
