I found this great site called
http://www.wheelsnext.com. Thye have some really nice looking wheels and stuff, plus it's already in Canadian prices for us canucks, and shipping is included in it. Anyways, I want some opinion on what would look good on my ride. If you need pictures of my ride to look, here's my garage:
http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...39800....Here's the ones I like, but if someone goes on that site and finds something better for me, feel free to add them to the list!General themes I like are black wheel with a chrome lip, like ajflan's. I also want 18's. No bigger, no smaller. If I'm going to upgrade, I'm gonna go big or go home.Option #1.TORK Champion Black Glosshttp://
www.wheelsnext.com/whee....htmlOption #2.TENZO Dc-6 Version 2 Black Flat
http://www.wheelsnext.com/whee....htmlOption #3.R1 RACING Drift Black Gloss
http://www.wheelsnext.com/whee....htmlOption #4.TENZO Gt-6 Black Gloss
http://www.wheelsnext.com/whee....htmlOption #5.DRIFZ Nos (505b) Black Flat
http://www.wheelsnext.com/whee....htmlOption #6.RUFF RACING R933 Machined w/ Black
http://www.wheelsnext.com/whee....htmlOption #7.TSW Trackstar-5 Black Flat
http://www.wheelsnext.com/whee....htmlOption #8.AZUL Victory Black Gloss
http://www.wheelsnext.com/whee....htmlNote: I personally like Option #8 the best because they are the cheapest, and look pretty much the same as all the others up there...their only downfall is they don't have the chrome lip...

Of those I'd say 4, not sure how they'll look, but from the pics I choose those.

I'm kinda diggin' the Ruff wheels, but it's kinda hard to know for sure how they would look on your Abyss Vibe unless someone photochopped it.

Abyss with black rims = good. You're on the right track, for sure. A polished lip does bring them out a bit and it's usually not too blingy. Get someone to photoshop those rims on your Vibe. Choice #8,.. definitely nice... but I think they might not show up well enough. #s 2, 4, 5 and 6 are all excellent. Tough choices, Amtron. Keep us posted.

Tenzo GT6, those were one of my final picks too. Like the simplicity and lip on tenzo wheels, although not as deep as in the photos, but I'm sure you know that. Can't wait to see what you pick!

Option 2. The DC-6. Very nice. You should make this poll a thread. Easier to see the final tally.

Gotta admit, I definitely saw that one coming And I will have the final judgement on this, just seeing what other people think.I'll start a poll on this when I look around a bit more. For now everyones opinions are much appreciated! Added question: Should I screw the wheels and just get a S/C? Might only be a 500 difference or so...maybe someone with an '05+ Vibe can give me an insight to the cost I'll be looking at for one with all the 'fixins' ?

I think the problem there would be finding an S/C.

Screw the S/C man... more problems than it's worth...

That is easy #6 the RUFF with black. Not a fan of any of the others, too spiny looking with the spokes. I'm not a fan of wirey looking spokes.

Agree with Whelan, but black wheels tend not to look spiny or spindly compared to lighter color wheels. I think I like thicker spokes on this type of car, too, as evidenced by my sig pic. 2,4,6 and even #8 have fairly strong (thick) looking spokes. Any of these would look great on a Vibe. I spent several months looking and comparing wheels, size, color, offsets, spokes and the rest, before I finally settled on mine. Then I had to find the tire and figure out what size would fit without interference problems. If you take the time, you should end up pretty satisfied with your choice.

Amatron,Have you considered weight in any of this? Rotating mass can play a HUGE roll in car handling.. You should have a look at the Enkei RPF1, somewhat cheap (~1200 a set) cast but built SUPER strong and about 17lbs for a 17" which is great for a cast wheel... A LOT of privatier racers use them, heck, even sponsored teams use them, all sorts of autocrossers... there are just a LOT of people out there using them... The RPM2 by them is another I wouldn't mind seeing on a vibe..

That's a good point about weight.*edit*Just checked the site and didn't see RPM2's, but they did have RPF1's. They are about $1200 before rubbers. I like the look of the RPM2's better though.

I mean, if you read any of the import mags that report on racing, you see them a LOT... lol..
