I am in the process of installing a custom supercharger kit on my 2003 Vibe and am wondering how much interest there is for such a kit.I am a mechanical engineer and have designed this kit ensuring that no component of the powertrain/drivetrain is adversely affected by the performance upgrade. This installation incorporates an intercooler and an Eaton supercharger to achieve an engine horsepower increase of 40-60% (desired power = 200hp). The final cost has not yet been determined, however with design cost and parts factored in the overall cost to the tuner should be no more than $2300 CDN ($1500 USD).Thoughts and comments are appreciated.

Sounds great. $2300 seems to be a nice price for that king of mod.Is this price include or not the installation?Plus, do you have any warranty on the SC?

The supercharger is a rebuilt unit (professionally done) and has a 1 year warranty. I haven't seriously thought about marketing this kit, and ideally what I'd like to do is either sell the all the components togerther as a kit, (supercharger, intercooler, micro-v belt, etc.) or provide details and drawings for those parts required and the do-it-yourselfer can find and fabricate the components. So the answer to your question is no, the price does not include installation - that's left up to the tuner.
