Owner Center is on the fritz

So I get my oil changed today at the Stealership and my first tire rotation,which,since the oil change took over 2 hours and the guy had said 1 1/2 hours,he threw the tire rotation in for free,and so I get home and log into the owner center to update my service record and it won't let me enter the data.So I go to dite help and find "Do you believe website has a problem" and clkick on that and then try to email them and it won't let me email!So I call Pontiac and get a nice lady that doesn't speak English as a first language(which is fine,I am not prejudice) and she asks me things like "did I log in correctly" and "have I ever used that site before" and "maybne there is a problem with my VIN" and then she says "let me put you on hold for about 5 minutes while I try to find something out about this" and I said,"No,I am on my cell,so why don't you just call me back when you have the answer?" She said OK.So,its been 3 minutes and I am anxiously waiting for her call, and I will let you know what happened.

So she calls back in about 10 minutes and wants to go through the process of trying to add a service record with me.We go through it and when it comes to submit it still won't work,so she says"well,it looks like there is a problem with our website" so now she is going to get her supervisor and call me back.

I'm also impressed with the call back. Having dealt with them more than anyone should have to over the past four months, my guess is that they are based somewhere in Asia (Philippines maybe?).Ever since the switch to Yahoo!, the site has been useless to me having nuked my service records kept since I bot my '05 AWD in '07.They have been trying to "restore" my records since August.I actually feel bad for the CSR's; it was an extremely poor management decision by GM to outsource the owner center. Poorly planned, thus poorly executed. More thought went into the artwork than the transition.

Agreed. It seemed like one of the main values of the site would be as a place where records could be kept with a clear timelog of when each entry was made. But if they're going to move it around with no commitment to keep the records intact then it loses that function.

They still haven't called back the second time and I still can't enter an additional service to my record.
