Fuel Filter

Alright all, I feel like an idiot, but no-where in the owner's manual does it mention the fuel filter. My Vibe (which is an 06 and I've had for since Feb 07) has 50K on it and I was wondering when to replace the filter. Does it even have one?! That feels like a stupid question, but it's WAY too cold right now to get down in the snow and look around for something that I haven't seen before. Any help for a lost soul?

Ah, but it IS replaceable....I replaced mine on Vibe #1 at 50K and plan to do the same on this one. However, it's not 100% necessary; it just made me feel better to do it. It's not that hard to do either.

Did you notice an increase in economy, idle, or response? Basically, is it worth doing? I can do it, just want to know if I should waste my time. Thanks!

since i keep and maintain maticulous fuel economy records I dont see a need to change the filter in mine unless a drastic change is noted in the data. I have around 58K miles and no drops in mileage averages. It also helps to use top teir gas.
