Just curious if anyone else keeps tools in their Vibe? Like torque wrenches Johnson bars sockets and other random toolsI never plan on using them unless im in my driveway. But I do keep them for an emergency and the GF keeps complaining of all the space the tool box takes up. Women never seem to understand

i keep the socket that fits my lug key and a 2foot breaker bar. Other than that nada.Jumper cables, safety triangles, paper towels.But, now i will need to cut down a few 2x6's so if i did get a flat i can roll it up on the boards so i could get the jack under the car.The joys of being lowered

I have a very basic toolkit in my trunk. It has proven useful in various things, mostly in assisting other people though.

No extra tools in our Vibe. In the one we got our daughter (in the midwest) we put jumper cables, a blanket, and a piece of tubing to fit over the end of the lug wrench for extra leverage. It all fits in the compartment with the spare tire so there's no loss of luggage space.

I keep a breaker bar for when those pesky belt problems arise.Keeping a toolbox is great for those odd times you need something.I fix everything myself.

Booster cables, 10mm socket, 13mm socket, flashlight, 2 crescent wrenches.

everything already mentioned and more. sire spools(small ones), snips,, solder kit, heatrap kit, emergency triangle, tiedown straps, tow strap, and much much more.

A long time ago, I got two of those emergency tool kits on sale (jumper cables, collapsable gas can, screw drivers, pliers, adjustable wrench, fix-a-flat, flashlight, plus a few other things) for two older high-mileage cars I owned. I've sold the cars, but now I carry those tool kits in each of my two current cars, even though I have much more faith in them than my old ones. It's better to have and not need than need and not have.I also like to carry duct tape and bailing wire in my cars. Those are two great all purpose, fix-it-on-the-side-of-the-road things to have.

Jumper cables, standard jack and lug wrench.In the Vibe I carry all my tools for work, so I'm covered there.Wife's Neon has jumper cables and a big jack and lug wrench. More fluids also. A few clamps as well.

Basically a highway emergency kit, ie flares, reflective triangle, tow rope, gloves, jumper cables, gloves, First Aid kit, 12V air compressor

i have a bad habit of not carrying tools (save for the emergency kit), but I do have a growing collection of parts for my vibe that I need to install (brass shifter bushings, a gatorback belt and some leftover oil). They are currently rattling around in my spare tire well.

I keep enough tools to change a tire. I have jumper cables and my EMT kit too.

I used to have a basic tool kit in the trunk, but I got sick of it flying around and making noise...

well not all of these are in the trunk i still consider them important tools to have around. i have the standard change a tire stuff that comes with the car, a few knives, duct tape, a few screw drivers, a portable pump for tires, a soldering iron and solder with some wires, and a router.

Flashlight, jumper cables, breaker bar, socket, cheater pipe, and some other junk wrapped up in towels and stuffed in the storage bin, so they don't rattle. I usually pack up a tool box for long trips... just in case.
