I have to replace a broken exterior door handle (right rear) on my 2003 vibe. Can anyone advise me on how to remove the interior door panel to gain access? I don't want to start prying in the wrong place and break something.

I did it a few years back - I believe there was one maybe two screws not many - then if you have the proper tool or pry bar pop the two bottom corners out and pull panel away from door as you are lifting it in the upward motion,,, Should be pretty simply... make sure to seal the door up very well so no drafts come in before reinstall...oh yeah I had to pop the electric windows switch out also... Cheers BB

there is a screw under a cover just behind the door handle. There is another screw in the door pull. remove the cup. After you have those out. start at the bottom and pry outward. Once you have the panel clips pryed off lift up and unhook it from the window track. After that reach behind the panel and unplug the window switch from the panel.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate that. It's too easy to break things when you don't know exactly what you're doing.
