Broke the body kit already :(

Yup. Thank you snow and ice for the ten inch long crack in my right front bumper extension. I cannot blame it solely on snow and ice (but I have learned not to bring up my "winter motor sports" on this site) but I am still devastated. It also has a bad crack on the underside where the spacers hold the bottom on. I will try to post up some pics soon. Hopefully it can be repaired or else I just may be out of luck. I just can't go back to stock!

Sorry to hear that. I had a guy in Frasier do some repair work on a motorcycle fairing (cracks and scrapes)... he was pretty good and fairly cheap. IM me if you want his info.I saw your car at your work a couple weeks ago, BTW. Looks good... Kudos for the Dragon sticker.

I used to do that stuff when I was younger but I always had problems. I like to keep cars clean and stock now.

They are hard to repair. A family member of ours had damage to his vehicle back in the year of lord 2001. The entire front fascia was cracked and instead of the body shop replacing the facia, they tried to repair it. It was repaired about 4 times more as it kept on re-breaking. Sorry to hear about the damage. If the snow and ice on the roads have not been that bad, what caused the damage?

I'm buying the same kit you have, and to avoid this problem I might want to take it off in the winter eh? Is it difficult to do?

I chose not to take it off because I am, for the most part, a lazy person. I'm not sure how easy it is, because it is also held on by a double sided tape along the edges. As far as how it was damaged, we can just call it a slight snow drifting misshap.

It's ok dude you can tell them what we were doing I'm sure the mods would like to hear all about it! j/k.How come everyone notices your Dragon's Tail sticker but no one notices mine You don't even have a bike yet! (removed)...I'll talk to my friend Paul and see if he can find time and give me a quote to fix it. He's good at what he does.

Are you saying you broke it doing donuts?Put in a front splitter.

Damn shame the kit looks awesome. Is it plastic or fiberglass? If you can remove and reinstall it yourself I wouldn't think it would be crazy expensive to have a shop repair it and respray it. There's always Duct Tape if all else fails.

lol. Thirty of us in a big line going 95mph through 3 inches of snow in very close proximity with little children standing on the side lines playing in our snowy wake. Just kidding. Only about 3 of us in an abandoned industrial park. nobody around

Haha next time we are out I will try to get some vids. And yes, I will get pics of the damage up. I think that I have been avoiding looking at it too much, hoping maybe it will heal its self.

Don't they make adjustable coil-overs for these things? Either that or you better put some really tall snow tires on your Vibe. I want stilts for mine this Winter. Hope it can be fixed. You have one of the best looking Vibes around. Driving and sliding on snow and ice is fun, but it can bite you sometimes.
