I'm looking to get 2006+ OEM Scion TC wheels for my 09 Vibe. I know that the wheels will fit but my concern is the factor TPMS system. Does anyone know if the Sensors in the Scions are the same as the 09 Vibe/Matrix/Corolla wheels? Also does any one have a 09 Vibe with TC wheels, If so could you post a pic. Thanks....

there are no sensors in the 06 tc wheelsthey will fit but you will have a the tpms light on because of it. It won't hurt the car but some have mounted the tpms sensors in to a 4"pvc pipe and sealed it up and pumped in air to turn off the light and thrown it in one of the storage compartments under the rear tire holder.

Thanks....I would assume that tC wheels off an '08 or newer would have the same sensors since all '08 model cars and newer have DIRECT TPMS. Even so, the only way for your system to work properly without having to have the dealership re-program the car to read the new sensors would be to install the sensors that came with your car in the tC wheels. I put some tC wheels without TPMS on my '08 Vibe and installed a small square of black vinyl electrical tape over the TPMS light. Works great! Here are two links to a quick education regarding TPMS:
