Well after 6 year stint with my Vibe, I finally traded sold it last week and got another toyota with a V6. The 2003 Vibe GT proved to have an outstanding engine, I did myown oil changes religiously from day 1 at 4000-5000 Kilometres, regardless of what the manuals said....I think thats why the engine was a dog.... I have had 104,000 Kilometres with the same clutch and probably if driven well would probably live for another 25,000-50,000 clicks if not abused stupidly......the low factory cca battery....lasted me 5 years on the nose, changed it last august....Threw out the years I did have beefs with this car, I found they paint inferior, the breaks, rotors and calipers were extremely cheap, that did not belong with this car, the car radio display went dead, the wiper motor broke down, worst id the residual value was horrible. Despite all the I believe I got alot of car for the Money I bought it. ....I took ownership of my vibe late october 2002, and found this site not too long after, it has been great site with alot of good people that offered great advice....I would like to thank all the members here, for all there wonderfull information, I certainly learnt alot here and I had a great time with my Vibe, my kids will definatly miss it, as we had alot of great memmories with it...... thanks again genVibe....... Good Luck and wish eveyone safe driving with your vibes......To all, I can say one of the best vehicles and one of the safest vehicles on the road today.....

Have fun with your new ride!I've got an '03 GT with 120,000 miles on it. I'm still on the original clutch and battery. Replaced the brake pads at 90,000 miles, had the rotors ground but still using the orignal rotors.Yes, the paint has horrible durability. On the plastic bumpers as well as the metal, I've got a lot of chips from freeway driving.
