MacBook Pro Price

Okay, so for a 15" MacBook Pro, 2.4GHz, 2GB Ram, 200GB HD, and the graphics card, its $1300. How much is it expected to go down before July? So instead of buying it on sale now, wait until June to buy it, would it be cheaper? Or something better for same price?Reason for this post is my dad believes that it will be cheaper to get it right before college... since I don't need it now. But I am arguing that the black friday price (1300) is the lowest it will be. What do you think?

Why don't you wait until you're in school and use the student discount?

I can use the student discount now. but it isn't much. Its only 100 off. And that is at the apple store. That price is for a retailer.

Apple's pricing is standardized. I don't think you are going to see anything lower than what you see today, honestly. The Mac market isn't as price volatile as the PC market.

I know. But I told him that. He disagreed... of course. So I told him that he will have to pay the difference in price.

Cyber Monday is supposed to be the biggest web shopping day of the year -- the online equivalent to Black Friday.

Apple uses standardized pricing so I would not expect it to go down between now and July, at least not significantly, if at all, because Apple's pricing is also not as volatile as the PC market.
