When you install a trailer hitch on a vibe, it bolts to the frame,If you get on the ground and look up underneath the rear of the car,you can clearly see the 2 bolt holes. There are 2 on the left and 2on the right side of the vehicle. While shopping locally for a hitch, have found most of the kitsdo not come with the bolts to hold it on and the sales people have no clue as to what size goes in there.Does anyone have a clue as to what size I need to buy at the localHome Depot ? I am assuming it is Metric, but that's as much as I canmuster..

Yep, I put one on my 03 and 09.Bolt M12 x 1.25 x 40mm CL10.9Qty. (6)There are three holes on each side, not two. If you have an older model Vibe, you will likely have to clean out the holes with a wire brush and WD-40. That part took over 1/2 hour on the 03. Dirt gets in there since the holes are not plugged at the NUMMI factory. I believe they are plugged up at the Ontario factory. So if your car is brand new, piece of cake. If older, then some cleaning is in order before the bolts will fit.

I believe there are two different sizes at random though, I haven't gotten around to putting mine on. The ones the other owner used were a different size...it's come up in threads on here before.
