Small wonder. They fired the experienced, knowledgeable employees a few years ago in an effort to cut costs. We can see how well that worked out!I haven't been inside a CC store for three or four years. I purchased one sale item online last year because it was far cheaper than anywhere else and had it shipped.Link to full details and store list at the web site --> http://newsroom.circuitcity.com/announcement.cfm

There were a lot of cars yesterday at 9:30 am in the Circuit City parking lot...odd for a Sunday. I guess they were having an employee meeting since our store is one of the ones on the closure list.

They opened one about 20 minutes from me a few years ago. It's been dismal. We tried several times to go in and comparison shop against the best buy up the road...but we could never find anyone to help up, and when we did snag someone, they were more interested in doing anything other than helping us. And their prices, quite frankly, were never that impressive. Every time we've given them a chance, they've succeeded only in giving the best buy down the street our business. Good riddens I say. Hopefully something more worth my time comes into that storefront...

That's interetsing Raging, here I could attribute your words to both stores and be right on. We have a CC a couple of blocks from a BB. I can never get help at BB or CC and they rarely have the best prices. I bought my last computer and printer from Office Depot after shopping all the other computer stores. The sales staff was more knowledgable, helpful, patient (I'm difficult) and they had the best price. Go figure!

Here is a lost of the Stores closing in Michigan. If anyone knows this area, some of these stores are no more than 20-30 minutes away from each other. Should have thought it out a little better before opening stores so close to each other. 3637 AUBURN HILLS 4612 BALDWIN RD AUBURN HILLS MI 483264211 BLOOMFIELD 2169 TELEGRAPH RD BLOOMFIELD MI 483023604 DEARBORN 5600 MERCURY DR DEARBORN MI 481263722 JACKSON 1511 BOARDMAN RD JACKSON MI 492021809 MUSKEGON OUTLET 1650 EAST SHERMAN BLVD MUSKEGON MI 494441880 PONTIAC OUTLET 550 N TELEGRAPH RD PONTIAC MI 483413860 ROCHESTER HILLS 2636 SOUTH ADAMS RD ROCHESTER HILLS MI 48307
