That's in the factory housing!?!?! That has a really good cut-off. I'm actually surprised, I figured there would be a lot of glare With the massive housing we have. Do you have a clue who he went through to get them? I currently have a supplier that I am going to go through, but man those put a pretty pattern out there.

they look great Pat.I don't recall where i got them from. They have been sitting around my garage for two years now. Yes, these bulbs do have a built in shield to help with the glare. Most if not all h4/9003 hid kits now have them. If you play with the shield a bit you can adjust your cut off. But 95% of the time the cut off shield is in the best location.I wouldn't touch those pat. They look really good. Enjoy the new light

That looks awsome... I am now green with envy. The next question is has anyone found a similer cut off for a set for an 09. and if that is the case wehre did they come from do they have shields and what did they cost?

the 09's would be a different kit. the new 09's use a 9006. where at the 03-08's use a 9003.You can try a cheap kit from ebay for the new 09's but most haven't had good out put with the cut off's It's not the kit its the housing.pricing for the 09's go from 70bucks up... Pat got a steal on these If i ever get my projector retro done be on the look out for my bi-xenon kit up for sale. Those will go for a bit more money though LOL

It will illuminate signs and trees better for sure but is it annoying to oncoming traffic? That is the question! With these you lose high beams, right?if you were near me i would alow you to drive down the road twards me and tell me if you get blinded. You won't! trust me He had halogen highbeams with this kit. I have bi-xenon, hid low and hid high beam.

There are several out there that are low quality and produce horrible glare. So yes i see the "extra" light above the cutoff, but just by looking at that, I would bet that it will not affect oncoming traffic like you are thinking.
