Has anyone got the 2009 model hood protector yet?I call local Pontiac dealer and they told me is 3 weeks wait~~Question: How do you install this hood protector? Is there a clip? or is it tape onto the hood? Hopefully is not tape on...

Screwed in from under hood ,I am looking for something for protection also thinking about full bra ? My 09 has chips in hood already how is yours holding up?Bought mine in June from Capital Pontiac. Not sure if this is a common problem or what. Also the dash material is odd and collects lint being black and different type of vynol or rubber.Hard to keep clean.

I only had my car for ten days... so none of the problem you mention yet~~I am concern about getting stone chips, that's why I want to get the hood protector ASAP~Capital Pontiac... Well, I dont think they like me very much~ I was so close to signing until I call Mainland GM at Watrous... They had the car I want with $1K more in option at the same price as Capital sell for.... Mainland even pick me up and drove me to watrous! Talk about service!I highly recommend mainland GM....

i am actually thinking of the full clear bra thing for the front end...bumper hood and mirrors. there are a lot of big rigs on my drive to work...some of them carry loose rubbles and when driving behind them i can hear little pebbles hitting the car lol i already have a few chips. i think the clear bra will look better than the screw on hood thing. plus i think that hood thing will cause wind noise...that's what i read on matrixowners.

The clear bra works great. I'm going with a bug deflector for winter, they actually save our windshield from rocks quite a bit
