The easiest and most convenient way to disose of used oil,is to put it in disposable containers, and set it in front of your house, unattented, with a very large sign that says: For Sale $20.00 each" and then wait for someone to steal it.

Milk jugs.I bring mine to work. We recycle all of our oil from the compressors. Also the firehalls in the city take them. I don't know if that's a calgary thing or if more cities offer that option.

Use it in a Castrol engine sludge commercial. You know, the ones they play 500 times a day on Speed.

seeing as how this thread is all jokes:dispose? i just filter it though a coffee filter and reuse it! no need to waste $4 a quart! : oi have a plastic oil pan that has a cap, i keep the cap on it and when it's full i just walk the 2 blocks to the auto store and drain it there it also makes great lighter fluid for those summer bbq's

I tried using it on kindling at a beach once (because it hadn't crossed my mind that be design motor oil is not flammable), and it wouldn't light at all, we had to use some cheap cologne instead, that worked great.

I bring it to my Valvoline down the street, they take it for free and use it in their burner. No charge.Although I have been paying for changes lately cause I am not allowed to work on my car at my parents anymore, and since I live there still and have no garage, it makes it a little harder.
