Anyone else with Chrome Clad 17in wheels?

Dont see many 09 vibe with Chrome Clad wheels~ Anyone beside myself? I love them btw...

That chrome model is only put on 09 AWD and the 09 GT has a different 18 inches chrome model. There hasn't been a whole lot of those models sold yet so visibility is pretty low. 90% of every 09 Vibe I see in my town are basic models with no alloys.

Well I don't have them yet but I did order them on my car.... still waiting for it to come to the dealer... they have an invoice for it so they tell me it should be 2-3 weeks to get it here from California. someone tell the train driver to step on it. I like the rims I even went out and got a powerball and crome polish to make them sparkle.

In Canada, you can upgrade the regular 17in to chrome clad wheels...I didn't ask for this rim originally and for some reason, all there FWD 2.4L vibe had this rim on it... But I am glad I did!

But I am glad I did!That's weird, FWD 2.4L usually have a 17 inches aluminium alloys.I guess a few dealers forced options on cars. My dealer hat put roof racks on all their 09 vibes.

I may be wrong but the 18 inch wheels say chrome polished, but the 17 inch ones are chrome clad, which means thet have a plastic chrome coating shrunk onto them. There have been concerns with chrome clad wheels where they chip from stones, just a heads up.

I will like them under they go bad~They do look pretty good with chrome theme.... Bought chrome exhaust tip and thinking of getting chrome license plate frame too

Yes I have the chrome clad 17" wheels on my 09. I had Two wheels replaced under warranty due to deep cracks in cladding upon delivery.I already have a bent wheel that was one of the warranty replacements.On the plus side they are very easy to clean will car wash soap and a soft cloth. I did not realize they were plastic chrome clad until I took delivery of the 09 Vibe. I am very unhappy with the wheels overall. buyer beware.
