Hello all.i located this company on the web.
http://www.weapon-r.com/main02.html They desgin CAI for various vehicles. They currently do not offer one for the Vibe. I sent them an e-mail and they would be willing to produce an intake but require a vehicle to build a prototype from. They are located here:WEAPON·R USA128 STARLITE ST.SSF, CA 94080Tel: 1-650-877-8280Fax: 1-650-877-8290The tests I saw when they were compared to INJEN, AEM and K&N they out performed all of them. It was the only intake to produce gains at numerous RPMs.If anyone in the area is interested in donating their car I think they would be willing to build something for us....... Seems like a nice product. Can get a forced air kit for them as well.

While the matrix intakes will "fit", they will not be a perfect fit due to the vibe's fog lights being in the way. Most say its no big deal, but the filter has to be pushed further up the pipe to make it fit.I know Krera Racing makes one just for the Vibe, but since most want other big names like AEM/Injen they go with the ones for the matrix.

this is a short ram intake so the foglights is a moot point.

Yes they do make one for the Matrix and yes they are aware they are the same car. It is a shorty style intake so the fog lights are not an issue. They would like to design a cold air kit for the Vibe in which case there are slight differences. I would like to offer my car to them but not very practicle since I live in Canada..... They would also like to make a front and rear strut brace for the Vibe.you can e-mail
leonow@weapon-r.com directly..... Just let him know where you heard about this....

slight differences???? ooohhhhkaaayyy!?! i dont know why they would even waste their time. id rather sale twice as many of one type than half as many of two. cuts down on production cost.(make it two piece like k&n) but i thought their whole ram air kit philosophy was to not have cia's) these guys are confusing me. front strut bars are a dime a dozen literally(i prefer trd's beacause of its one piece design). rear strut bar? i dont know if its all that neccessary being as how our rear suspension is one big hunk of twistbeam, however this one intriques me if for nothing but apperance value only, to bad im way up here in ohio, but there some vibes and way way more matrixes out that way hopes someome steps to the plate, but i wouldnt get my hopes up about seeing these products in the near future.

Not realy sure what you are refering to.... The system seems to be done fairly well.... All I was asking for is if anyone would like to volunteer their car so a prototype can be made... i was not asking for a discussion of the product itself........

on their site weapon r states the thier ram air kit is superior to any cia because you dont have to worry about hydrolock. and now they want to make a cia.as i stated above im to far away to volunteer
